3. Your data

Personal data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person, i.e. individual details about your personal or factual circumstances, such as your name, date of birth or e-mail address.

3.1 Purely informational use of our website

If you visit our website for purely informational purposes, we only collect and use the data that your internet browser automatically transmits to us, such as for example:

– date, time and duration of the retrieval of our website,

– type of the internet browser you use,

– the operating system you use,

– whether you accessed our website directly or via a search engine or any other external website,

– your IP address.

We collect and use this data when you visit our website for purely informational purposes exclusively in non-personal form and for the purpose of enabling you to use the websites you have accessed. Your IP address is only stored in anonymized form by replacing its last part. Usage statistics are therefore based exclusively on non-personal data. A personal evaluation does not take place.

3.2 Leaving a reply

We offer you the opportunity to post questions, answers, opinions etc. on our website, hereinafter referred to jointly as “replies”. If you make use of this opportunity, we will process and publish your reply, the date and time you submitted it, and any name or pseudonym you may have used. If you leave a reply on our website, we also offer you the opportunity to subscribe to any subsequent follow-up comments made by third parties. In order to be able to inform you about these follow-up comments, we will need to process your email address. Your email address will not be published.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b), lit. f) GDPR. The data processing is necessary in order to provide the reply function or to safeguard our legitimate interests, for example to be able to contact the author of a reply in the event of a complaint.

3.3 Social media share buttons

The social media share buttons are merely links which, when clicked on, take you to the corresponding websites. This does not involve any data processing on our part.

4. Duration of processing

In general, we only process your data for as long as it is necessary for the provision of the website. This is not the case if and to the extent that we are obliged to retain it due to legal retention obligations. In this case, we delete your data when the corresponding retention periods expire.

5. Data transfer to third parties, third country transfers

Data is generally not transferred to third parties. A transfer to other parties however may be necessary if we instruct companies, e.g. technical service providers, to perform corresponding services. In this case, data protection agreements have been concluded in order to justify such transfers. A transfer of your data to a third country outside the European Union or the European Economic Area or an international organization does not take place.
